Armon is coming off that knee injury last year and may not be quite right yet and I think Jayvon has been dinged up all year. I feel as though I’ve seen at least one of them on the sideline in street clothes multiple games and I’ve seen at least one of them get limited run in a few games. Fuck if I know which ne I’m watching. Armon was supposed to be the better of the two players which excited me because Jayvon flashed a few times last year.
Tuitele had surgery in the off-season as well. Anyone know if they finally went in and cleaned up his shredded pec muscle? He’s never lived up to the hype he had coming out of high school after playing hurt and refusing to get the muscle reattached his senior year.
I rewatched the game with a couple beers last night, watching the DL in particular. It's something I like to do. At the point of attack, they're plenty physical enough. Three or four tims, Trice & ZTF absolutely put their tackles on skates backwards, cool to see. One of those was the holding call on their RT. What they're not doing is getting adequate separation and getting off blocks. And the LBs aren't that great, IMO. And tackling sucks.
Saving for next year? Thought one of them had a few good plays last year
Armon hasn't played yet given his injury/surgery. Jayvon has played in all 6 games, mainly on special teams, but he did play DL sparsely in the first 4 games.

We lack the length up front to shed blocks. Too many 6"1-6"3 300+ squatty bodies.
