    Rommel had no air support, 90% of the German Army was on the Eastern Front, was working mainly with Eastern European conscripts, and still accomplished so much.

    He seemed like one of the very few honorable "Nazis" (I don't think he was even a Nazi). He wasn't actually involved in the plot but his name got brought up and he became collateral damage, like so many others. They killed around 5,000 people or more over the Valkyrie attempt even though only a few conspirators were involved.

    I think it was more like 81%.
