And 4* LB Humphreys picked Duke over UW. Methinks things will get a little chippy over on the dawgman recruiting bored. They long for the days of "exciting recruiting blogs". I'm sure Km will chime in.

    Shit, didn't see that, bummer.

Sounds like some good work for a banana boat to report back on ...

I also like that Butler Cabin is now posting commits of kids to other schools ... but he's not doing that because he questions Petersen's recruiting but instead just reporting news ... no twisting needed here.

Sark would have never finished second for a local 5 star!!

I honestly DWHA. Tall unathletic pocket passers aren't my bag. But I wouldn't have wanted Kellen Moore either so what the fuck do I know.

I would hope this site has the ability to call a spade a spade. Losing a highly praised 4 star LB who we were supposedly leading for and the top in state player from 2016 isn't good. Duke over UW? What the fuck? I know Peterman will recruit fine, but if we got these kids a lot of you guys would be saying, "I thought Peterman can't recruit, Kim!!??!!"

The LP3 seem to love him so that makes me suspicious. Right now it's more an off field loss than on.

The LB prospect looked like a good one but also needed to bulk up a bit as he was probably 30-40 pounds under what you'd want out of a college LB.

Generally speaking, if a kid chooses to go to a school like Stanford, Duke, Northwestern, etc., I'm not going to slam a kid for taking a great education and the connections that you get in those places. I'm not saying that the kid wouldn't get a great education or connections in Seattle, but the UW education doesn't come with the same sizzle as those others.

I know your post is sarcasm, but is there any truth to that as the kinda shit dmc was selling its "insiders"?

I just checked Realdawg (I know, I know, lighting myself on fire... or wait until I finish) and their national experts had him 56% Duke, 38% Stanford and only 6% UW. He was never coming to UW. If dmc was saying anything other than Duke or Stanford the whole time, they are FS.
I wasn't really being sarkastic. I'm not at all worried about recruiting under Peterman, but I'm not going to poo-poo any guy that chooses to go elsewhere. Anyways, I don't really follow recruiting in July, but I was under the assumption UW lead for him. Your numbers show that wasn't true.

Looks like we picked up a relatively raw from an experience standpoint but quality looking CB prospect that has a chance to be a big, physical type.

The thing with this TBS stuff is that it's not about where a player is today but where they will be 2-3 years from now. Until proven otherwise, I've got no reason to not trust in Petersen.

If this class is filled with 7-10 4-star and above players and the rest is rounded out by very solid 3-star players ... I'll consider this class a success.

It goes with saying that we do our best to call a spade a spade. If UW goes 8-5 this year (with that ridiculous schedule) I will be seriously questioning whether Petersen is the right coach for us.

This. Kids will change their mind a lot between now and signing day. If uw wins, recruiting will take care of itself. If uw goes 8-5 I would think we made the wrong hire.

Every year the NFL draft is littered with 2* and 3* guys while many 4* and 5* guys aren't even considered as UDFA's.

When will some of you begin to realize 'star' value is assessed in large part by analysts and experts that never played or coached any sport, anywhere.

Peterman's track record suggests he doesn't give a fuck what Kim or Ruth or Lemming think.

Humphreys and Eason obviously didn't have feces in their throats.

Disagree. As good as Petersen is it could take a year to flush the Sark out of the team. If a 8-5 record this year is followed by another 5 loss season in 2015 I'll be concerned. But it won't be.

8-5 with this schedule would be really bad and would most likely mean a 4-5 conference record. I wouldn't call for Peterman to be fired, but it would curb my enthusiasm.

If Petersen doesn't win it is door.ass.out.

We are all little excited with Petermans track record and rightfully so, he has earned that.

Difference between here and doogman is we won't be making excuses if he goes 7-6 consistently. We will gladly admit we were wrong about the hire and that he needs to LEAVE!!

Look at Petersen's track record of getting these non star guys to the NFL. As someone stated too if he starts winning he will pretty much get whoever he wants on the west coast.

He still has plenty of time to wrangle Eason back in. Who knows though maybe he isn't a OKG. Losing the linebacker hurts more.

I see you got your copy of the doog cliche play book.

Do you ever boo the kids?

    Damone,

There's more to life than football ...

And yes, I do boo kids.
