The defense is not dominating

Dillon Johnson is probably still hobbled by his knee. Look at his highlights while at Mississippi. He had better burst than he showed yesterday. I would sit him next week.

Powell had a pass break up I believe. ZTF was literally invisible. I thought Voi T. had the best motor yesterday. I wanted to see Heims as well.PostGameOrangeSlices said:
Did Powell play at all? Or ZTF? Or Tuputala?
In on 0 plays -
Would like to see Bruener get a bit more run out there with the first unit. Kid plays with his hair on fire. Tuputala continues to underwhelm despite all the hype IMO...
It's still incredible how mediocre the group of Tuli, Bandes, Ale, Tui are in the middle...

Secondary looks improved and MJ Ale looked like an actually guy yesterday. That was a fun development. ZTF doesn't have the same twitch/bend sinc his injury, need more heat up the middle to make up for it!

The open field tackling still leaves a lot to be desired. Overall they looked quicker and hit harder than I saw at any time last years and the two outside corners were pretty lockdown
I'm not gay for Asa and his flowing locks like a few of you guys, but I will grant that the TFL he made was a spectacular play. He came in fast and with a purpose on that one. That's the kind of physical talent the dude has. Hopefully he keeps being willing to put it to use
I think they schemed conservatively against BSU to try to keep that guy from running. -
Interior d line was fine yesterday. Nothing up the middle and when we did get pressure they were the ones applying it.BroadcastingDawg said:Would like to see Bruener get a bit more run out there with the first unit. Yeah the only way boise was scoring more than 2 touchdowns was Green being able to get outside the pocket.chuck said:The open field tackling still leaves a lot to be desired. We have a quarterback!!! We have enough to win this pathetic conference

my god -
Ztf was actually setting the edge a few times. The gameplan from Boise was clearly to get the ball out in about a second so I'm not worried about the pass rush
