We recently had this shitball on our team at work "leave for a better opportunity." Everyone knew the guy had no impact and management wanted him gone. The comments Brock made sound just like what our VP said when announcing he had left.

When most of the comments are of the, “she left for a better opportunity, we don’t blame her for going and we thank her for all she did” variety, that’s often code for “she left because she’s been mediocre and no one’s really gonna miss her floppy tits. We can do better.”
