I do also agree that Dwayne Washington is going to be the next NFL RB from UW (IF he can stay healthy). Really think he is going to shock stupid fans of UW out there.
MY MAILBAG was filled to the brim with absolute gems from my favorite Husky fans this week. "Your worst nightmares have just been realized: Washington is awesome again," came from Dave in Auburn.
I am also really concerned about the state of the program because of a QB recruit who still has a year of High School football left. There are signs out there he is throwing a lot and his arm is sore, he also couldn't participate in some of the faggy camps that the TBS douchepeppers attend. It's hard not to point out a correlation with the Ty regime.
I also have some stuff I have been hearing from my sources inside the program, they aren't good either, like at all. This stuff I can't post about but if you want the skinny be in the chat later tonight.
I am optimistic about the future of CP (have I mentioned how much I approved of the hire?) but to say the start is a little rocky is a complete understatement.
Callier's a 3rd down back for us ... if he's doing that then that means that we're going to have a good year running the football.
The OL was young in 2012 ... but we ran the football well.
We ran the football pretty well last year with the exception I believe of 3 games (all on the road); and even the Stanford and UCLA games were reasonably decent given the opposition. The pass blocking seemed worse than it was because of how many sacks Price took.
This will be the best OL that we've had since 2000 this year ... COOK IT!!!
Over/Under for wins this year is 10.5 ... PERIOD!!!.
I'm not for picking unders too often and I'd prefer if we gave the naysayers a nice big fat shit burger to munch on ... 11-2 or GTFO.
So did Sankey as a frosh (see @ Nebraska) ... what's your point?
Agree. It was one game and 99% of RB's would have fumbled when he got bent in half. Saying he has a fumbling problem is jumping to conclusions. We haven't seen enough of him to know.
I have always found optimism and pessimism to be annoying. I just like being realistic. Right now the people who don't expect things from Petersen aren't being realistic. Sure, it is possible he will be a bust but that is NOT the most likely scenario based on his track record and the resources of Washington.
I don't get those that say that Washington had fumbling problems last year. He sucked against Illinois with them. It sucks. But so be it. You tend to learn best from your mistakes. My guess is that he won't have problems going forward. Nor did Sankey after his gaffe at Nebraska on the kickoff. Shit happens.

In my minds eye (Hi Hugh Millen) I have the next 5 years going like this for Peterman:
10-3 9-3 10-2 11-1 12-0
Sorry, I'm doogin now. I'll stop.
On paper now, 2015 looks to be a shitshow.
It's early, but I don't think it will be that bad. I think we will be better than most think in 2015.
I agree. Petersen will have had almost two years to prepare for it. Had Sark stayed, I'd be worried about a 6-6 type season, but he's $C's problem now.

disagree.
But agree with the unboalded part.
It was a poorly worded whoosh (definitely not my best effort), but the only person that had a problem with Washington's fumbling was Sark because it threatened to cost him his trip back to SC.

There are a few poasters around here who agreed with Sloppy Seven.
