The video was from “The Last Waltz”…Mavis Staples. (and her sisters and father), were invited to perform, and this evidently was filmed pre-concert…Arguably the greatest concert flick to date…

Saw Mavis perform in 2018 or 2019 at Railbird in sweltering heat. She’d have been 79 or 80 depending on the year….she was awesome.

Danko's vocals were great too.

They were still super tight in 1976 as a live act, but in terms of new material the fall off post Stage Fright (1970) was pretty steep.
