Agreed. From UW's perspective, travelling east thru time zones, for most of your away games is really hard. The B1G has a pretty good balance of 1/2/3 type opponents. Especially when they recently added the top third of the P12 (or some facsimile, thereof).

This is why no one wants Stanford or cal. Why pay for access to the Bay Area media market when you already have 4 teams (Oregon, usc, ucla, UW) who draw better ratings in the bay than furd or cal?
