Disrespect unreal. What does USC have other than Williams? I'm more scurred of the Ducks and Nix than them.
Don't know, but I assume a bunch of highly rated recruits. They will put up big points all year. Their defense may suck again, though. UW playing at USC will be the toughest game of the season, IMO.
As long as Grinch is there DC they will always be in the range of 2-3 losses. Also the hype around Caleb as this transcendent generational QB is ridiculous. There is nothing about his profile that screams 1 rd QB.
They brought in a head coach who had no clue what he was doing in the SEC personnel-wise and trotted out an offensive line with walk on caliber players starting. Not a great recipe for success going against elite SEC defensive lines. Auburn was 10x worse offensively without nix so he clearly wasn’t the problem.
I don’t think the loss of gus affected him as much as having <1.5 seconds to throw every snap did. He looked just as bad (if not worse) as he ever did at auburn v UGA week 1 last year (and Oregon had a better OL than Auburn). And that was with his “whisperer” Dilly.
He’s not a great qb under pressure/making quick reads. He has a slow release and when he feels heat he has a tendency to throw the ball low. Luckily, outside of UW/Utah there’s not really any DLs in the conference who can bring the type of pressure that will make him uncomfortable. And with Oregon’s personnel at OL/RB this year, they should be able to keep doing what helped him succeed last year —feed bucky and Noah for 6 ypc and occasionally PA yak in a clean pocket with >4 seconds to throw.

Franklins about to transfer to udub so you’re really going to be fucked then.

Stein turned a kid no one had heard of, Frank Harris, into a top-15 CFB QB heading into this season at UTSA.
Somehow I think Nix can complete a forward pass without KD.
Cool story. dipshit.
Don’t ever change with your always spot on analysis.
LOL….
You were wrong and are still crying about it since November.
What exactly did you get right here?
That you were talking out of your ass about Nix?
You nailed that.
