It depends on how you look at it. I watched the documentary and I believe Andrew when he says while it got very uncomfortable for awhile, he wanted a more normal life and was always happy for George. It sounds like they remained friends through all of it.

Conversely, I always assumed that he and Ridgely were lovers turned musicians. After I saw the documentary I found out how wrong that was.
