Fully expect the defense to have a big improvement from year 1 to year 2. We went from playing a soft, corner-friendly defense for the last 7 years to all of a sudden asking our corners to play in an aggressive man coverage scheme. New personnel plus another year learning man coverage should help.

I like the offense IF…
1) Tight ends are productive in the short passing game freeing up deep routes for the big three

2)The running game is unstoppable in general and
The short yardage game improves significantly. I assume Dick Newton being a 220lb senior should help this situation

3)Dylan Morris can play well in a back up role

The losses and close games last year, the passing game was slowed down, Washington couldn’t rely on the running game consistently
