Bruener will play plenty this year.

Ulofoshio and Tuputala are the starters if they are healthy. Goforth and Bruener are next up in the rotation. Considering Ulofoshio and Tuputala both have injury histories you would assume that there will be lots of rotation here. If Ulofoshio or Tuputala go down for any period of time then either Bruener or Goforth step into a starting role.

Bruener, Tuputala, Fowler and Bryant are the rotation in 2024.

No way Goforth transfers from USC to sit behind Tuputala.

All Bruener has seemed to do is make plays whenever he's on the field. Kind of confused why he's been pegged as a backup/special teams guy.

I legit don't remember even really seeing Tuputala near a play after the Stanford game.

He gets in on a lot of plays and makes a lot of nice hits. He seems to be about the best tackler on the defense. Those are the things we can see on TV. I've often wondered what I'm missing with him. He hasn't really contended for a starting spot under this staff and the guys ahead of him have been questionable at best.
