Wendy's burgers are gross. Dairy Queen is far better.

I haven't had their fries in two or three years, at least the regular ones, but they used to be good, IMODerekJohnson said:

I like 5 Guys burgers and fries are OK.
McDonalds fresh hot fries are one of the very best. I don't know what they do but it probably involves illegal narcotics. -
There’s a Twitter video about the pesticides McDonalds puts on the potatoes to kill aphids.Sledog said:I like 5 Guys burgers and fries are OK.

McDonalds won’t buy potatoes if there any brown spots on them. So spray the shit out of them.PurpleThrobber said:

You people have no fucking idea about potato production. I work in agribusiness and we grow potatoes (and other row crops) in the Columbia Basin. There are three companies that produce almost all of the frozen(french fry) potatoes: McCain's, Simplot, and Lamb Weston. They only contract for the varieties and amounts they want. They have no input into how we grow them and what goes on them. In addition, all of the chains use the same fucking potatoes, the only difference is in how they are processed. Nobody buys substandard produce so of course everything is done to enhance quality. If you want to be scared by what you buy try organic. Here's a bit about the basin:

So true about organic. I made chemistry for the ag industry when no-till and "organic" was becoming the thing.
