That's funny. I have had several lunches and dinners (with many, many drinks) with KFC/YUM Brands corporate leadership. Some actually worked with and knew The Colonel. He was just the face of the company the last 25 years of his life. They just put up with that cranky old fart and kept him on the road.
I can tell you with certainty that The Colonel would be rolling over in his grave if he saw the company had anything to do with gay pride being a focus, or any social bent for that matter. He was all about chicken and being a rank SOB.

I haven't had their chicken in six or seven years. It wasn't any better than KFC from what I remember.
KFC original, biscuit and mashed potatoes/gravy is the Throbber's about-to-commit-hari-kari comfort food.
(but day to day, Chick Fil-A is better)
