WA isn’t the first state to institute such a ban, so my question is why haven’t lawsuits in other states like CA or NY been effective in rolling back state house gun legislation? Why do we expect there to be success at the judicial level here?

They have they just make new laws to strike down later. They spend massive amounts of tax money defending them.
