Washington and Oregon appear to be really stuck in No Man's Land at this point. Better to just let Arizona and Colorado leave and backfill with SDSU and then play an 8 game schedule.

I don't think any of the other remaining schools give a shit about the Big 12. Kill Pac12N and then you at least have less mouths to feed with the smaller revenue pool.

Coming to terms that this is probably the case, at least for a while. Just go with it and find a way to schedule really well out of conference. Boy, the Oregon and Washington rivalry is really going to be great for all of us losers' mental health when it mostly likely becomes a play-in game for a trip to the expanded playoffs every year.
You mean like the Ohio State game? ;) <------------- $75k</p>
Well, I guess it's not going to be easy and maybe it doesn't matter and it's more important to just win the conference if you have an automatic in. Either way, if I'm Oregon and Washington I'm pitching Notre Dame to add them to their yearly schedule and make sure you're getting a yearly game against an LA school.

I remember reading an article at Suzzello that Washington and Notre Dame were in talks about making it an annual game, but then Washington complained about referees cheating for Notre Dame after a 1949 loss to Notre Dame and the Irish ended the talks.
