I watched on TV

He was just before my time. I have no memory of him

He was the ASG and regular season MVP in 1970. In the finals against the Lakers, he missed game 6 with a tear in his quad, and Wilt went for 40+ and 20+rebounds. Everybody thought it was over. He played sparingly in game 7, but energized the Garden and inspired the Knicks to victory...He was obviously overshadowed by Wilt and Russell, but was a great player for a long time...DerekJohnson said:He was just before my time.
