El Dorado is maybe my fav John Wayne Western. However you have ol Rooster thrown up in there…two different movies.
CSB. Had many hunting parties in North and South Dakota in the day, some on @Swaye kinfolks land. Standing Rock to be exact. Had a house we leased from a local for a week every year. Had everything we needed except TV reception/dish/direct/whatever…had a TV and a VHS(back then was the shin diggedy)…
I would bring several vhs movies to watch and one was El Dorado. I played it every morning, at least, and the theme song sticks with ya. “In search, for EL Dorado…!”
Had a few pods that never wanted to hear that shit again because they woke up to it playing at 4:30 am every morning. Every morning, and me watching sipping coffee. Heh
