    I've recommended lots of friends and people I have worked with for jobs. I did so because they were a great fit for the job and they still had to compete with other applicants and others thought they were a great fit and hired them. To not make the recommendation would actually harm the company.

    And this Ray Dalio loved himself some fascism. Firing competent people because they were smarter than you on vaxx mandates is also an insidious form of corruption. What a POS. Like having mello tell you how to live your life.

    Isn't that how most trade Unions work?
    You kinda have to know someone to get your foot in the door...at least that was my experience.

    Heard it was pretty much the only way you could get a job as a Longshoreman in Portland.
