Vigilante justice is a bad idea but it's coming if the government won't do it
Same with cartels in Mexico and the border
It gets ugly fast from there
Say hello to my little friend. It sits in the car with me always.
So question for you about carrying- I'm about to get a holder for under the dash- but I don't have a holster (concealed carry is legal here in Georgia) and am not going to leave it in the car. Do you carry to grocery store, dinners, etc?

Look for vehicle gun safes - I had one in my Ram 3500 - locked in the bottom of the console - easy to install, kind of hidden if you looked thru the console it looked like a normal bottom of the console

Just get a "truck gun"
More info here for what it's worth. I'm no expert but I've been carrying for a long time. I have a small quick safe in the house where I keep the holstered Glock. I grab it and put on a belt when I go out... anywhere. Because you never know when you can become a victim. I hate put/take firearms from a holster so I always keep it in the holster in the safe. Chambered round. Someone may say that's dumb. Don't care. It works for me. The Glock is ALWAYS in the holster.
There are times where you can't carry. Get a cheap "truck gun" and keep it in the vehicle. If you have kids take extra care.
I'm not going to be a victim without a fight. Not looking for a fight.

Many years ago I’m in a grocery store in Southern Oregon and I’m looking for something on the bottom shelf.
A lady is standing next to me and I turn my head. I’m staring right at her sidearm. I’m like damn, the women are different down here.
I did not know until then that Oregon was open carry.
I have the advantage of 50 state concealed carry. I carry everywhere at all times. But a truck gun is normally something more substantial because you don't want to carry it all day. Remember that men fight with rifles (some instances shotgun). We carry a handgun because we can. It's smaller concealable and portable. The handgun is used when attacked by surprise to terminate the threat or fight your way to a long gun! I usually carry a rifle in my rig. A good rifle turns cover into concealment. Shotguns are good as well just don't have as much reach or penetration. They are the deadliest of firearms within their range.
A throw away handgun like a Glock or similar is good to keep in you vehicle as well if legal. Holstered handguns can be a bit of a chore to draw while seated in a vehicle. But the handgun should be on your person in case you need to move from the car. Remember two is one and one is none!

Back passenger window broken out and both passenger side wheels gone. You can see the jack under it.
Reporter says nothing until one of her co-workers tells her that callers are noticing the car behind her.
Oh yes it’s been broken into. She was trying her hardest to ignore it. Pathetic.
