Now that is how you stop the run

The off duty detective died in the crash. Very sad story. Dude in the Oregon surplus gear got 15 years.
Wrecking his face on the landscape blocks was heartwarming. Wife and two kids left behind. They were in the car. -
Damn. Glad he got caught, but the guy who chased him seems to have issues, too. Can't stand it when men act like that.

His children had to see that.

If you just witnessed another human's death, it seems understandable to me that emotions run high.Fenderbender123 said:Damn. Glad he got caught, but the guy who chased him seems to have issues, too. Can't stand it when men act like that.

Stop with the sanctimonious crap.Fenderbender123 said:Damn. Glad he got caught, but the guy who chased him seems to have issues, too. Can't stand it when men act like that.

Don't really disagree. If the guy is fleeing the scene, then citizens have the right to detain him. No issue with that.Fire_Marshall_Bill said:

But all the yelling and in-your-face attitude shit, even in the moment where you just saw a guy die, tends to be correlated with other mental/emotional issues. At least, in my experience. That's why instantly recognized it and commented on it.
Also, the video doesn't really show who ran first. If the drunk Oregon guy ran first, then the other guy is justified in sprinting after him and tackling him to the ground. However, it's possible that the drunk Oregon guy, who did appear to just be pacing around with a "my life is over" expression on his face, noticed the other guy start charging toward him first, which is why he suddenly stopped pacing and started to "run" (if you could call it that). In that case, the guy who chased him had absolutely no reason to do that, which would be further evidence of his hotheadedness and lack of emotional maturity.
But who knows.
