ESPN and the SEC clearly won the narrative. The self fulfilling prophecy became so much a reality that our? own headlines now suck the cock of former players of the SEC by referencing where their former conference in the title of an article as that somehow adds value to the story.
Edit: I guess it isn’t as bad as the alleged Pac 12 powerhouse with the alleged national brand trying so hard to verbally claim they are an SEC type program at the lines and on defense even though it simply isn’t true.
I know Raley has to write about something but we all know that we have 10+ guys that we would not even notice if they were gone.
It’s going to be pretty easy to get below the limit and the coaches probably don’t even have to push guys out. Some will choose to leave simply because they are buried on the depth chart and that sucks for them.

Nobody with a brain is thinking about the 85 scholarship limit right now. It's not relevant. Virtually every decent team is going to have another exodus in the spring. Spring practice then the portal is open again. I'll be surprised if UW isn't a few guys under the limit before fall camp starts.

No one cares.
