Was Packer the guy who would always say "with a little kiss!"? If yes, hated him. Or is that Raftery who did that? Whoever uses that phrase really grinds my gears.

Packer was more reserved and serious. He was the number one guy at CBS up until 10 years ago or so.

Nothing beat the excitement in the 1980s of listening to the Bob Rondeau radio call of aHuskies vs Beavers game at Gill Coliseum. Chris Welp vs Jose Ortiz. The squeak of the sneakers, the sound of the buzzer.
