Who among us hasn’t fantasized over doing that?
-
There must be fifty ways to leave your lover. I like slip out the back, Jack, but this way is a little more fun IMO.
-
Rory +3 thru 10. Does he realize this is the first round of the Players and not the Masters?
-
Golf Channel did a segment on will there ever be another Tiger. Couple guys said no
I remember the 80s and 90s when there would never be another Jack. And then came Tiger
The 80s and 90s had a lot of good players like Faldo and Freddy but the guy who should have been the next Jack was a choke artist
Rory has a little of that. But 20 wins and 4 majors is top 1% all time
It's not an easy game -
There won’t be another Tiger. Part of the reason is that the equipment and ball advances, he would have won even more had the USGA frozen the tech and the ball as of like 1995 technology. Tiger maxed out his game with feel and talent, now there's Trackman that allows everyone to have the formula for optimization, which brings in more guys that could have a hot putting week.RaceBannon said:Golf Channel did a segment on will there ever be another Tiger. Everyone is the same
Until someone has the GUTS to finish
That was Brandle's take. That's how to separate -
Jordan Spieth career in one screen shot. Today's round so far
I said the 12th hole at Augusta when he folded over a wedge on his penalty shot ended him. He was the next Tiger
He won that fluke Open against a soft loser but I was right
-
Spieth chased distance and ruined his swing. A tale as old as time.
-
He is the closest thing to Seve since Seve. Up and down wizards
Seve was ended on 15 in 1986 -
Turn the 6 into an 11 and it looks like one of my scorecards from the 1990sRaceBannon said:Jordan Spieth career in one screen shot. Today's round so far

Yellow was being kind of sarcastic but he's right. Skinny Tiger would have won more. Ranger training, weight lifting and roids broke his body. When the knees went the back followedBleachedAnusDawg said:
But he was Tiger. From 97 to 08 as good as there ever was
Same as Bonds - I don't care -
I got Min Woo Lee today
-
-
Min Woo is legit, he’ll be heard from someday. Issaquah Aussie Cam Davis finishes 6th. Cool guy, but his wife is a complete psychopath, and quite ugly.RaceBannon said: -
From T6 to T44 over the last three holes

I lost a sizable pro shot credit once with a late meltdown like that. I know how he feels.RaceBannon said:From T6 to T44 over the last three holes

Last Oct @MrsSnow and I took the last seasonal flight from White Wakanda down to SAN to spend a romantical weekend at The Lodge at Torrey Pines. Classy hotel for those who've never been. As I was poking around the pro shop and looking out onto the fairways I thought of Tiger's gimpy ass knee. -
I saw Tiger up close and personal at Torrey Pines. He was the first group out Thursday at the north course and I was first bus at the course. For 9 holes it was pretty cool. Then the hordes arrived
Also saw Tiger at the 98 PGA at Sahallee and the WGC there -
I saw Jack, Freddie, and others at the old Fred Meyer Challenge in 89. A highlight was on a Par 3, the Walrus hit it stiff, the crowd went nuts, then Stadtler looked at his caddie and asked “How close?” “Three feet”…he scoffed, spiked his club in the tee box, and
stormedwaddled away. We were close enough to hear the convo… -
I was close enough to fist bump Tiger but Tiger didn't fist bump fans in 98 or 07. He was still Tiger, not the affable senior statesmen he is now. Pure focus as he walked by.
At that same WGC, Azinger hooked his drive into the trees where we were standing. He comes in to play it and smoke is coming out of his ears. Just pissed off. People couldn't help but take a step back. Normally I might make a smart ass comment but I didn't want to get my ass kicked. He takes about 5 seconds to put it back in the fairway and storms on after it -
I used to love watching that on TV but was still young and pour during the best years and never went. Peter Jacobson was a favorite of mine being somewhat local, and he always brought in most/all of the stars at the time.Fishpo31 said:I saw Jack, Freddie, and others at the old Fred Meyer Challenge in 89. The gals are coming back to Sahalee next year. Course looks very different than anyone has seen it previously. Lots of tree removal, the egregious ones on #11 and #12 are gone. Plus a full renovation of every bunker.
-
I saw a first today in the course. I'm just walking up to the 10th tee. The other three were on the rew box, grabbing clubs, washing balls, etc.
I hear this loud crash and clunk and this fucking cart comes flying down a big hill to the right of the tee, a really steep hill in a spot a cart should never be near, right through the low hanging branches of a big tree. He sees he's about to drive right over the cart path and into the tee box, and steers hard enough to go up on two wheels. He pulled it off though.
What I hadn't seen before though was that this mulleted, white tee shirt wearing hillbilly had a passenger and he launched her when he made the turn. It was a big, red faced drunk woman and she was having a hard time getting up. My friend ran over to her, she sat up, looked at him and smiled, and pissed her pants right in front of all of us.
Dude circled around in the cart, she yelled at him that she didn't make it because of his driving, he yelled at her to get in, and off they went.
I lead a boring life. This was one of the craziest scenes I've ever witnessed. First real nice day of spring brings out a diverse crowd. -

That swing didn't look any harder than mine feels. I just don't understand. Fuck!RaceBannon said: -
