Oakland? Gosh it's such a nice place! I flew over a fair amount on a dope case or two. I'd occasionally be the observer in the helicopter when they didn't have an observer due to illness or vacation. The other guys on my team got motion sickness. It's bad enough from the ground but from the air it looked like it was just hit by a B17 raid.
