We are dumbfounded why the relative rate is dropping with every refresh of data. Need to look for all plausible explanations besides the vaccine becoming less and less effective at preventing transmission over time. One possible theory is that the unvaccinated are more scared to interact in society and return to normal.

Contact tracing team getting overwhelmed, Duchin head of public Health for the county admits it's basically a waste of time and provides no actionable benefit. Wouldn't be doing my job unless I pointed out bathhouses as a point they were collecting data on. Have to know your audience.

While 37% of recent infections are vaccinated, the vaccinated MAY be able to spread it and vaccine protection MAY wane over time. Also boosters can be recommended IF needed.

This batch of emails tells me that I should always trust what elected officials and gov't bureaucrats are telling me. And that we should censor those individuals trying to spread what we consider "misinformation."

I don't remember the natural immunity exception being advertised during the vax passport days.

The exception didn't go into effect because of the cumbersome burden on small business to administrate, not because of science.

The county is all about reducing adminstrative burden on small business as we know.
