I don't think it was that easy, but it does remain that common sense should be involved in any banning program. CFCs had replacement chemicals available. It's not like banning natural gas and coal as base load electrical generation while also prohibiting nuclear base load electrical generation. You are missing my point. For the last 15 years all we have heard about is the depletion of the ozone and the melting of the polar icecaps due to MMGW. CFC's certainly were not healthy for our planet but they were banned back in the 90's. No one was talking about the ozone being depleted by CFC's, it was MMGW that was destroying the ozone layer.BleachedAnusDawg said:

The ozone layer helps maintain temperatures as well. So if there is a healthy ozone...........why the bullshit about temperatures being man made?
They lied.
We also know that the polar ice caps ebb and flow over time. Healthy ice now, less tomorrow, healthy ice the next year, etc. They lie about that as well.
The rat list of factors that increase our global temperature is long and mostly filled with bullshit.

In grade school back in the 70s we were told the ozone could never heal. Once the damage was done it was permanent. (We were also told watching TV in the dark would harm your eyes)
