Kim rushing to overly defend it and twist him/her/their self in knots to justify Sark is what forces attention.

I mean, what is the motivation? Sarkisian is never coming back here, and Kim is never moving past DM. What does he get out of Sarkisian being viewed more positively than not? It's such an unbelievably odd flex over a guy who dumped Washington cold (thankfully).
