WA/OR/CA Governors keep spending more and more on homelessness….

And the homeless keep coming and coming.

Honestly it really doesn’t need to be any more complicated than supply and demand, folks. Anyone telling you that it’s more complex than that is lying to you.

Offer the funding and services and the transient drug addicts will flock, bringing crime and disease with them. I mean we’ve been running this experiment for 25 years and where has it gotten us?

    This isn’t working.

Too much $$$ and too many “non profits” sucking at the homeless teet.

There’s no incentive or desire to actually solve the problem.

The "solution" the guy Rogan is talking to deal with the homeless is still throw more money at it. We don't have a problem with homelessness because the "rich" don't pay enough taxes. It's not a spending problem and anyone who claims it has anything to do with a lack of spending is completely full of shit.

"Human greed" isn't causing the homeless problem. I don't know who that guy is but he is totally full of crap.

Hey grifters can't grift woithout huge taxpayer funding. I guarantee you those politicians are probably involved on the service side not counting the payoffs.

Give a meth addict a brand new apartment. How long is it a brand new apartment? It's like our "elite" have no life experience and can't realize that addicts and the mentally ill and especially mentally ill addicts who can't care for themselves aren't going to take care of their property and especially someone else's property.

Nothing will change until people are imprisoned or forced into sobriety.

There’s a homeless encampment off I90 in Spokane that the WSDOT and Dept of Commerce has dumped $24 million this year.

    About 200 residents.

With that kind of money they could have paid for ninety six $250k homes.

Instead they’ll spend another $24 million next year ands 200 will still remain homeless.

    Or plan B. Buy them a one way Greyhound bus ticket for $133 from Spokane to LA and give them $5,000 in cash. 200 x $133 + 200 x $5,000 = $1,026,600.

How do you think they got to Spokane in the first place?

One time deal. Must be present to win. Then bulldoze the place to the ground and salt it with boulders. Arrest anyone trespassing. Addicts don't like jail. Go Sheriff Joe, and put up some barbwire and some tents. No TV. Just the inside of your tent with some bunk beds. 30 days first time offense. Doubles with each new arrest for trespassing.

Good thing the people who are charge of the response to homelessness don't believe in a Housing First policy in order to address homelessness. Poverty is caused by a lack of money, homelessness is caused by people not having a house. Give people money, and give them a home and you no longer have poverty or homelessness.

Some of us don't have to deal with any homeless. Sucks to be you I guess.

Yeah, I've never had to deal with murder or my house burning to the ground. Guess neither of those are real problems either. Good to see you're as big a tool in all areas of your life Haie.

I am fortunate enough to live in one of the most affluent zip codes in the country, so I don’t really have to “deal” with homeless people either, Haie.

What you have to deal with has been well documented here.

No thank you. Nothing's changed with me. Purple area or Texas. Fuck every place in King County.

Not everyone can cut it in a real major metro area so they move to places like Vancouver or Medford.

It’s ok. We get it. VWA is a good fit for someone like you. I’m sure you’ll do great.

Any STEM bro with experience gets job offers every month to move up there. Same with Bay/LA

Again. No thank you. I value fun and freedom.

    Texas or nowhere else here.
