Any interest in classical or non pop music?

This will probably be a thud but how about some non-commercial music. I favor Baroque music that is especially good on vinyl. I'll start with Alison Balsom on a natural trumpet. She is outstanding. When in I was in band (many years ago) the girls did not look like her.

I'm no aficionado but I'll listen to a symphony or piano concerto now and then. I guess my taste is more romantic/classical from what I remember.

I love classical music but I am picky about it. Mozart A+, Indian music - Ravi Shankar A+, Phillip Glass - Glass and Shankar did a great album. I also listen to Irish folk, bluegrass (love clogging videos), and Cajun and fiddle music - Jean-Luc Ponty is one of my favorites.

I am also not an aficionado, but when I was driving a lot for work, I would fire up KING fm when stressed out, and it soothed the savage beast that I would morph into behind the wheel…I do not know it, but I have an appreciation for it.

I have a fairly respectable collection of audiophile reissues of classical recordings. Mostly 19th to early 20th century. Gershwin is probably the most recent. The Rachmaninov stuff with Arthur Rubenstein and the Chicago Symphony orchestra is especially good. Fritz Reiner was a legendary director of the symphony and I the sound is amazing. I’ll post a pic soon.
