He was the canary in the coal mine. He probably shouldn't have won the job as a true freshman, and then he proceeded to look like our worst starting DB since 2014. Him, and the entire DB room, have been in a slow motion free fall ever since.

He blew coverages as a true freshmen and while he was a willing tackler, he wasn’t very good at it. People broke his tackles all the time. Maybe could have been a legit starter as a senior or something.
