Story of a Vet that made my day

Today at a local restaurant a Vet came in and asked if he could bring in his karaoke machine and sing a song. The manager was all for it so this 81 y/o Nam Vet dressed in his uniform proceeded to belt out "I'm proud to be an American" to the entire restaurant. He had the pipes and got a huge ovation. I'm sure the video is going to show up soon. One of my daughters recorded it. It touched a lot of people.

He then handed out a letter detailing his service in the Navy and why today is so important. He was assigned to Seal Team 2 and other Special Forces groups and saw duty in Hanoi, Cambodia and Laos. His missions were declassified in 2001. Sounds like he was a badass.

Thank a Vet today!
