Nice Bill Barnwell article on predicting future success in NFL

We all know how @HeretoBeatmyChest‌ feels about the metrics and this is basically what this post is about.

For an example the Seahawks in 2012 were 11-5 but all 5 losses were by 7 points or less, plus that team was blowing out opponents. So I knew that 11-5 was a fluke the wrong way so in the following year metric wise it was the same team just Seahawks stopped getting unlucky so they went 13-3. They won a SB by having HFA which had 2012 had they win a SB as well.

It's just nice being hated by every other team who sucks. Richard Sherman is too cocky, PC is too happy on the sideline, RW is going to get figured out, the refs let them get away with PI every play yada yada yada.

I love that they represent everything that Doogs always bitch about the SEC and Oregon about. Then same Doogs love the Seahawks but always add in "I wish they weren't so cocky".

Russell Wilson is certainly a square. I'm partial to the boozing, pk abusing players like Favre or Gronk, but who really cares? Caring about athlete's personalities is straight out the doog playbook.
