IN Rome right now. prices for food and restaurants way cheaper than in the USA. I kno the euro is at 1 for 1 right now so it is a good indication of how bad inflation is torturing us in the states.

Europe was dirt cheap on The Throbber's most recent trip. But a reduced sized fucking bag of Cheetos is $4.69 or some such shit at Safeway.
And loved that $6 per gallon gas on the lake this summer.
Fuck you, Joe Biden. Fuck you, Zelensky. Fucking robbers.

I hear complaining about a $4.90 box of Cheez-its means you’re pour?

It's just not the inflation it's the large amount of random items that are missing from the shelf. I've gone to Freddies with a list of 6 items to get and three were out of stock. Kroger is buying out Albertsons/Safeway which are the big competitors to Freddies here in southwest Portland. No more dueling loss leaders. Cheetos to $5.00 by Thanksgiving.
Look I’m not on any sort of fixed income/budget, so paying more at the pump or the checkout line isn’t something that I feel on a daily or weekly basis.
When I run a quarterly quick books, it obviously becomes more apparent, and maybe my wife and I talk a little bit about eating out less or whatever, and she’s going to wait to buy a new car, but it’s not like we are in a position where we have to figure out how to make ends meet.
The people that are in that position, I can’t imagine what this is like for them. I would be furious watching us send billions overseas while I bargain-hunted for bread and milk to feed my kids, while the political class that played such a critical role in allowing/causing this to happen told me that if I didn’t vote for them again that I was a racist.

It’s extraordinary to me, to be quite honest.
Dems don't even try to explain their energy policy. Drain the SPR, beg the Saudis for drilling more of their oil while we shut down our oil and gas doesn't make sense to a family that has lost a month of disposable income to pay their electric and natural gas bills along with filling up their cars.
The Throbber has spent a shit ton of time on the east coast and in Europe the last year.
NOTHING looks like the west coast filth. Nothing. It’s a fucking shame that one can’t walk down the main drags in SF, SEA, LA and PDX without encountering absolute filth.
NYC, Philly and DC have their problems but their mental health nuts and addicts are generally off the beaten path. Not enabled by the elitists. Spokane’s downtown has only within the past couple weeks been swept out adequately enough to walk through without fear of getting stabbed by a dirty needle.

Never ever forgive the BidenBros for what their vote has cost this country.
BidenBros voted for him because they’re all little sissy men.

I’m talking basics. Eggs, milk, chicken, veggies, lunch meat, etc etc etc.
No wine or meats/seafood.
Fucking incredible. 😂
Fuck the Biden Bros.

There’s a special kind of leftist out west.
