She's a pretty great speaker but she needs to calm the religious fervor. Says she wants the independents on board, well, most independents I know aren't Christians. Keep it to the plethora of issues and hammer them over and over. That will sway the fence sitters. Saying God talks to you really won't help. I really don't care who you worship. Large portions of my family and many folks I work with are deeply religious and they are great people. Most of my close friends are not and they just won't accept what she's sharing as long as she's preaching. Just my take.

I'm not religious at all. But since I don't have an irrational fear about Christians dictating to me how I should live my life, and see the reality that it's the religious left that's constantly dictating to me how I should live my life, I don't care a wit about people who publicly express their faith.
Yeah, but your a white male that doesn't live a life based on feelings. I couldn't agree more with your take but it does make some people with the feelz nervous.

Trust me, I realize that. Remember VTDuck or whatever the hell his name was? That guy was convinced the Christian Right was under his bed and monitoring what he did.

VT was a centrist in the mello - dazzler mode. Couldn't state an actual centrist position if his life depended on it.

She speaks the truth. You seem like a great guy but she shouldn't stop speaking the truth to accomodate your or your friend's lack of belief. Are you being asked to change your life in any because of her beliefs? It seems you want to change hers in order to serve however. In the end, who wins if you're right? How does she lose? If she's right and you're wrong, you and your friends lose for eternity. Not sound logic.

Rather have someone who says God talks to them then those who run with the Devil. The DIM party is evil, people are beginning to see just how evil they are. COVID.

Her job right now is to win elections not souls.

That speech was at CPAC in early August. She was speaking to choir. Is she out on the stump now talking about God?

I listened to the whole speach and while it sounds a bit fervent I don't see the problem. Those who have a problem with her Christian values and beliefs can get on the dipshit Lake train and submit to the demands of her religion.

Don’t have a problem with her beliefs.

Have a problem with her trying to stick an eagle when all she needs to do to win is play bogey golf

Sorry you can’t quite grasp that concept.

Agree- play it straight down the fairway and quit trying to go all Phil Mickelson trying to cut the dogleg.

It's hers to lose right now.

The fact that it's hers to lose right now might have something to do with her being who she is and not trying to be phony

I understand what you and the can stacker are saying, but her authenticity is a powerful asset in these times

The left candidates have no problem at all with using religion. Jesus said to pay taxes!!!! If you want low taxes you hate the poor and can't be a christian

Mary and Joseph were homeless. (spoiler - they weren't)

They always get religion around election time and its fake

I tend to agree with the "can stacker" premise but the right are such pussies. We can't win if we do this or that my oh my

Be yourself. Leave the faking to the left. They really CAN'T win being themselves
