The NFL is about to go through a shit-storm with this. I don't pretend to know the protocols, but when I was coaching, all decisions for a potentially concussed (or injured) player to return to action was straight-up on the medical staff. No matter what the explanation, or results of any investigation reveal, no one will believe it...it was fun while it lasted...
