Of course Cho Bai Den wants a war - and Russia is better than China. The Big Guy will get his 10% off the top, the military industrial complex will soak the taxpayers, the indentured servants that reside in Congress will get their payola and they can implement war powers lockdowns on individual liberties.

I just don't see the US advantage to blowing the pipeline. First, there is no way it stays a secret for long. Too many people involved. The next problem is that Russian retaliation is way too easy. We have ten or more times the infrastructure as the Russians. Blow up a major southern California substation and its lights out for a long time. The pipeline was at about a depth of 225 feet, which is divable. So no need for a complicated submarine action. Brings in lots of actors.
