I’ve been there in 96. I’m 81% sure we were able to drive through and look at the planes up close but I don’t remember if anyone could access the base or we got in because we were active duty (TMFMS). -
Hard soil (don't need to built run ways).
Dry climate (no hangers needed).
Arizona is like the best spot on Earth to store old planes.
