2 B1G prioritized massive TV markets in its last round of expansion (DC, NY)
3 B1G got its schools PAID in the last deal and is ready to go to market again
4 P12 contract expires around same time as B1G, making a P to B move fairly clean
5 UCLA athletics finances are hot garbage. They need straight cash.
6 claiming an LA monopoly gives B1G serious leverage with TV
7 ergo the events of this summer
