All Quiet on the Western Front was brutal; no idea how realistic. The Pacific captured the stories from the books on which it was based rather well. Same with Band of Brothers. (View Post)
A couple other things the U.S. Navy had advantages over the Japanese was the firefighting capability on our ships. Made a huge difference between losing and saving a carrier. (View Post)
