Talk about Horse Shit
We have 5 ranked teams in the B1G and our top 2 teams, tOSU and IU are better and would be favored over each of the SEC top teams. I would lump a one loss Oregon with teams like Georgia/Alabama/0le Miss/Texas A&M based on the games I’ve seen between the B1G and SEC.
If the B1G only gets 3 playoff teams in and the SEC gets 5 burn it all down. The above rankings are total BS, 10 fucking teams vs 5 in the B1G will be there attempt to “steal the election”

Winners win. Losers cry about rankings.

The 9 game conference schedule is going to knock them down hard.

yep and then they’ll scrap it and go back to 8 and brag about its toughness from top to bottom.

You are completely missing the point. They have 4 teams ranked with a 2-2 conference record while the B1G had 2 teams with a 2-1 conference record. 10 teams vs 5 teams, two with equivalent wins and half the loses. These biased ranking influence the 12 team playoff and my point was fairness. And before you cherry pick individual wins and loses both conferences have dreck.

You’re missing my point. Winners win. Keep winning and everything else falls into place.
Losers cry about fairness.

On a side note, I know its not going to happen, but I would much prefer the Big 10 be divided into two divisions. As it is, it just seems like a big soupy mess

It’s all a big cluster fuck with these 18 (example) team conferences where depending on your draw without apples to apples comparisons X team Washington misses Indiana when they are great and team Y gets Ohio State, Indiana, Oregon. The beauty of the PAC 10 if intact today everyone plays everyone and you don’t end up with apples to oranges mumbo jumbo uneven schedule. It’s all greed/$ and then you add in this insane transfer portal where players are on their 3 and 4th different teams and NIL which under it's original idea wasn’t pay for play where teams like wsu have become a minor league team where OU calls up the Mateer kid.
The sport is imploding on itself. Again look at the note below and tell me with a straight face these numbers make sense. Leave UW out, Iowa is an example this system is more than flawed when me sitting in my basement can make a better informed decision that many voters. There needs to be a formula but again the rankings bring eyeballs (and they can be entertaining) but it’s all about the Benjamins. -
Washton control its destiny, I think. They'll be ranked an if they continue to win and beat Oregon, which is very much in the realm of possible, then I think they make it in as an at-large.
Buck and Indiana vie for the conference. The rest is beauty pageant for an invite.
