Stupid thing to bitch about. Dillard was nowhere near a blue chip recruit, and that he’s developed as well as he has is more of a nod to his OL coach than a knock on every big time program that passed on him. Tackle has also been arguably our strongest position outside of the DBs, so it’s not like he would have made a material difference.

Started in the PAC-12 as a Freshman. Played 39 straight games. NFL network Now saying he’s a top 15 pick in the NFL draft. #1 left tackle. Sorry, that level of athleticism shouldn’t be a secret.

Fans can be excused. Fans simply don’t have the knowledge, experience and/or incentive to get recruiting right, Outside of counting and comparing @Fetters stars, of course.

Coaches on the other hand, especially local coaches, have absolutely No excuse.

Laziness? Peer pressure? Fear of failure? Incompetence? Inexperience? These are reasons for the failure not excuses for the failure.

Keep in mind, we* took 2* Coleman Shelton and Dane Crane in 2013 instead.

He was 240 pounds in high school. You really don't need to look farther than that to understand why WSU was his only P5 offer. We get it, it's your shtick, but none of this Dillard shit is interesting or worth talking about.

Only those enamoured by @Fetter-Stars are clouded by the obvious, Pete missed landing a top 15 NFL talent in his own back Yard.

Was he on Boise's list? What I thought.

Have you seen his NFL network interviews?

He didn't go to Fetter-Camps and get his Fetter-Stars. He played basketball. He intentionally kept his weight Down... to 240 lbs... to go with his 6 5 frame. Think his feet were a secret?

Wasn't a secret to cuog-coach who went and saw him play Basketball, according to press. Didnt talk to him. Hear his story. Witness his athleticism first hand. Talk to coaches,

    Project.

Kid was 275lbs starting in Pac-12 as a freshman.

    Secret. Sure. 12 miles away.
