Gaines moving up to a late second round to third round pick range with this Senior bowl performance.
My UW draft order prediction:
Byron Murphy: Top 10, Round 1
Taylor Rapp: Top 15-25 range, Round 1
Kaleb McGary: Top 25-32 range, Round 1
Greg Gaines: Round 2-3 range
Drew Sample: Round 4-5 range -

Yeah well I'm not gonna start another long debate about Gaskin. I love him and I respect him as a Husky. He was a great college player but the dude is tiny. NFL scouts will see him in person and take him off the board. Likely UDFA IMO.HillsboroDuck said:

Gaines is good and he definitely helped himself at the Senior Bowl, but this is a really deep DT class. I'd be shocked if he goes before the 4th.
MMFG will definitely be drafted. His size isn't that big a deal. Lindsay's Pro Bowl season helps him. He might have to wait until day 3 though. Probably a 4th-5th round guy like Gaines. -

You are so wrong on rapp. All the NFL cares about is measurables. They want the guys that best fit their expectations. Rapp is just to small to be a first round pick when their are so many other good enough safeties that fit that 6'2+ 220lb size they want. Gaines will be a huge late round steal for someone. They'll overanalyze his measurements as draft day nears and he'll end up in rounds 4-6 in spite of his game film and workouts impressing everyone.

Sample is really unlucky. I can't recall so many good underclassmen TEs ever declaring for the same draft. Foster Moreau and Day Raymond also reportedly did well at the Senior Bowl. Really not sure where that puts him.
