NFL scouts have been watching Browning, looking for any sign the 2016 version is lurking somewhere beneath the surface. So far he’s done nothing to assuage their concerns. Barring an incredible combine, it’s hard to envision Browning’s football career continue much further past his NFL PA Bowl dud.

I;m not sure any of us thought at his best in 2016 that he was NFL caliber

Typical.
First they keep Kap down...now Browning. -

This is the 2016 Browning. The difference is Ross and Pettis aren't there to catch his mortar shots.GrundleStiltzkin said:NFL scouts have been watching Browning, looking for any sign the 2016 version is lurking somewhere beneath the surface. What a dud you are Jake

"The starter for the national squad, Browning’s blunders ended up being the difference. The American team scored three points off of Browning’s two turnovers and won the game by three, 10-7.
Browning threw his last collegiate touchdown in mid-November. He did not throw a touchdown in Pac-12 Championship Game, the Rose Bowl or the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl. Counting his pair of interceptions in this most recent exhibition, Browning had as many multi-interception games this season as he had multi-touchdown games against FBS opponents."
God that's so Jake. Throws two picks that result in his team losing 10-7. It's like deja vu. I didn't think I would enjoy watching him fall flat on his face trying to go pro but I do. His entire time at UW he thought he was the shit and when the offense sucked his body language made it obvious he blamed those around him for his shit performances. Well Jake, it was never them. It's you. You suck. You can't play. You're a scrub. Good luck with your coaching career. -
I thought there was a chance... I was extremely, extremely wrong.RaceBannon said:I;m not sure any of us thought at his best in 2016 that he was NFL caliber

You mean Jake is who we thought he was?!
-
They forget that he’s like having an extra coach. But on the field
-
I'd place him somewhere around the middle of the 8th round.
-
I hope he can speak Canadian.

He was better in 2016 and didn’t play scared. Confidence matters. Browning has none.Hippopeteamus said:

I realize you guys are used to it...but softy is the gayest fucking nickname.
It's like a childish insult. -
I heard the interview with Softy. It made me uncomfortable. But, for all the catastrophic sacks and turnovers in his career, there's still the fact that he was part of the group that brought us? back to respectability. I'm moving on to booing the next guy. And there's this:

When did Jack Lockner died? Looks like right after a Titans gameRaceBannon said: -
Early 3rd quarter in Atlanta and I’m talking to an Auburn fan sitting in front of me about Browning. I say Browning will be lucky to go in the 6th round. Auburn fans he goes in round 3 or higher. I say let’s exchange info and out $20 on it. He says, let’s bet for real, $500. My wife nods her head yes & I say sure.
Game progresses and for whatever reason, he stopped talking to me and didn’t want to exchange numbers.

If he'd handed his way off to a Rose Bowl win I could have a luke-warm positive view of him in hindsight but no, fuck that guy. He held this team back for at least three years while the public and media continued to kiss his ass and give him credit for what #MMFG and Defense was doing. The only reason I want him to make it in the Canadian league is to make sure he doesn't end up on our coaching staff. Good riddance!Dugdawg said:I heard the interview with Softy. I cant believe he didn't throw a td in the last 2 gamws

There are a non-negligible number of Seattle sports writers/radio hosts who are silently hoping Eason stumbles coming out of the gate next season so they can rush to the twatters to tell us how ashamed we should be for having taken a WINNER like Brownsocks for granted

So, in short, they want Eason to fail so that they can be right?DoubleJDawg said:There are a non-negligible number of Seattle sports writers/radio hosts who are silently hoping Eason stumbles coming out of the gate next season so they can rush to the twatters to tell us how ashamed we should be for having taken a WINNER like Brownsocks for granted

He shouldn't tell everyone he's going to try to sell a car or insurance to in a few years to pound sand.
He doesn't seem to have much foresight.
