I will address the issue of oil. No one said oil was the issue. The comment was the vast majority of their economy was on one resource. Seriously Race. You are smarter than that. -

US backed right-wing military coups against Latin American regimes we don’t like are back in vogue I see. Maduro is a corrupt authoritarian but there’s nothing US involvement would do to better the situation. It’s not a vital national security interest and therefore not worth our time and effort.

The streets are filled with people risking their lives to get rid of the morons who ruined their country
The morons are using guns to put them down
It's worth our diplomatic support which Trump has given
I stand with pumpy for freedom -
The Mack Daddy OG Progressive Thug T to the R would have solved this shit in Venezuela right quick.
Would rather send troops there than fucking Afghanistan in an unwinnable war. At least Venezuela has hot chicks and oil. Afghanistan has goat fuckers.

You’re certain this is homegrown? The Trump admin met with Venezuelan military officers about overthrowing Maduro last year. It was in the news you may have missed it.
We have no idea how much domestic support these protestors really have compared to the regime. Either way throwing US support behind them in a country that doesn’t like this US only helps Maduro.
We’ve racked up a really strong track record of supporting opposition groups these last couple decades. They tell us they’re fighting for freedom so that means they must be, of course. Either way we need to DO SOMETHING. When it’s time to supply arms to them or send in US troops you’ll fall in line. -
Well Red, we aren't doing anything other than recognizing the government like many other countries in our hemisphereHardlyClothed said:

You go ahead and root for blood to flow in the streets as your masters try to hang on
Putin is with you. I heard that's a bad thing
I like freedom you like authoritarian states. We all know who wants to fall in line -
Right, recognizing the opposition faction as the actual legitimate government is just a small thing. Even though they don’t appear to have military support. Not at all a recipe for disaster.RaceBannon said:

The only thing US diplomatic, covert, or military intervention will do is make the situation more violent. Let them figure it out on their own and stay the fuck out. -
Just re-deploy the Afghanistan troops. Easy peasy.HardlyClothed said:

Warm weather, hot chicks. This shit is over in five days like Grenada.
US needs another vacation spot - Mexico has turned into a cartel shithole. Venezuela is nice.
