    One humorous moment in yesterday's news conference came when a reporter asked Gilbertson about the "hair dance" conducted by several Huskies who wear dreadlocks — namely, Stanback, Charles Frederick and Shelton Sampson — after Stanback's second-quarter touchdown against the Bulldogs. The reporter wondered if Gilbertson thought it was out of line considering it was early in the game.

    Gilbertson said he didn't see it, then asked for a demonstration, getting one from safety Dashon Goldson, who was sitting at a back table, which drew laughter from the assembled media.

    When the laugher subsided, Gilbertson said, "There will be no hair dancing, OK? ... If it was in poor taste, it will be addressed. End of story."

    The dancing against Oregon State was fine. Face it, young black dudes like to dance. The problem with the lawnmower was that it was synchronized and they actually had assistant strength coaches yelling at the players to join in.
