No one paid the crazy rates. Loopholes on top of loopholes.
You keep saying that but we paid off the war bonds in the 50s. If no one paid the top tax rate, then why did the government have a surplus?

If you have a government that needs some of it's citizenry, no matter how small the percentage, to pay 70% of what they makes to fund critical governmental needs for the country, then the 70% tax rate is not the problem. The government that was allowed to grow that large and need that much money to do that many things for that many people is the problem.

This is true. In the 50s, we needed to pay off the war bonds and people supported that cause.

That being said, unless something extreme like a world war happens, we'll never see a 70% tax rate. It is fun to watch AOC trigger half the folks here tho.

She prances around like she hasn't gotten a good deep dicking. Someone needs to mushroom stamp that donkey face and knock some sense into her. I hope the tax goes through, then EVERYBODY with the money will leave and that state will die a hilarious death.

This is why I can't quit.

mushroom stamp (plural mushroom stamps) (slang, humorous) A mark left by slapping a person with one's penis.

I learn the best shit here.

When I stick banana up my ass I smell roses. Now refute what I said Hondo. Your statement is pure Kunt logic. There's no need for me to refute it. It refutes itself due to sheer stupidity.

We paid off the war bonds and had a surplus therefore people must have paid the top income tax rate. Logic only a Kunt could love. Couldn't be that we spent less, has to be on account of high tax rates.

As a percentage of GDP Federal tax revenue is actually higher now then it was at any time during the 1950s.

Btw, Hondo why are you only talking about the top income tax rates? I thought you said you couldn't talk about income taxes without talking about payroll taxes.

Now you are just being fucktarded. There was no SS and Medicare in the late 50s. Yes federal receipts in total, which includes Corporate and payroll taxes, was roughly 17% of GDP then and in that ballpark now. But break it down to income taxes. It is funny now you care about other taxes. Dumbass.

Lets go of the side of the kiddie pool and sinks like a fucking rock. There was no Social Security in the 1950s? Stick to dick sucking Hondo, it's your only real area of expertise. And of course what would a Hondo post be without a blatant lie. Federal tax revenue as a percentage of GDP is actually higher now Hondo you fucking lying piece of shit.

But given the fact that you're a fucking moron who thinks there were no Social Security taxes in the 1950s I'll allow you to cop to just being a dumbfuck if you like Hondo.
