Steilacoom (Wash.) 2021 four-star athlete Emeka Egbuka was the offensive star of the combine, earning Offensive MVP honors and he clocked the fastest 40 on the day, a 4.42 laser timed on the Alamodome turf. On Friday alone, LSU, Ohio State and Tennessee offered after word of his 40 time got out and he’s at 15 offers despite just wrapping his sophomore season. Auburn, Washington, Nebraska and USC were some of the offers he picked up this past fall and he had Notre Dame and Michigan reach out this weekend. UCLA, Texas A&M, Arizona State and Texas as well as Wisconsin, Georgia and Oklahoma have also been in contact with him and he plans to visit USC and UCLA in February.
Seems to me he’s pretty good!

Another offer Egbuka had coveted was Washington and that came during the fall, shortly after Washington defensive coordinator Jimmy Lake saw Egbuka play in person against Burien (Wash.) Highline.
While Egbuka only had four receptions in that game, he had an 72-yard punt return for a touchdown and also had another long punt return for a touchdown negated by a penalty.
"I had been talking with Coach (Matt) Lubick about receiver but Coach Lake said he likes me as a DB," said Egbuka. "But Washington offered me as an athlete and Coach Pete (Chris Petersen) said they just like me as a football player and would see where I fit best. But that was a big offer for me because they don't make a lot of early offers and I think I was only the second 2021 offer."
