I don't think this is true. Pretty sure the story was that UW got in on Eason's recruitment late, and Eason wasn't fond of Smith, and that Eason wanted UW to promise that they'd only take 1 QB in his class if he signed here. Eason should just declare for draft
Kiper has him at worst 4th round today -
Eason is going to win the starting job and lead us to the playoffs only to sit out to prepare for the draft

I agree with PGOS. Eason didnt even want to play for UW. Then lost his job to a true freshman. Now that hes got no other options hes back to salvage his career.

This is why we are all lucky Haener blew his audition versus Cal. Had he lead us? to victory and taken the job from Browning there'd be a damn good chance he could beat out Eason next year. Haener sucking ass was the biggest blessing of this shit season.

I really don't understand the love for eason when there are too other QBs that are highly rated - I would like to see a running QB that has a good arm - is that Yankoff or am I just yanking off here?
all that being said - Jake still sucks (that covers 3 of the QBs) -
I would love for Yankoff to be the starter. Then when he runs it from the five “The Happy Ending” could become a real thing.
