As it is now, the bottom 50% of income earners pay little if any income taxes. They have zero incentive too keep income tax rates low because they don't pay them. Top 5% of income earners are paying nearly 50% of all the income taxes. And you don't need to be rich in order to find yourself in the top 5% of all income earners.

The entire point of contention was over your claim that this statement by me was a lie:

I look at government operations like the VA and I want nothing to fucking do with the government taking care of me.
Since I was always talking about earned income and not capital gains all of the income being referred to was subject to the the Medicare tax and up until the SS cap, all of that income is subject to the SS tax. So again, the person who "forgot" something was Hondo the stupid Kunt. But it sure gave him the opportunity to run his mouth with an irrelevant statement against a claim no one was making.

I'll type this slowly and one last time. Yes you stated a fact that 1% pay almost 40% of income taxes and trying to make judgements based on that. But see what I'm doing is adding context. It's like saying UW had 444 yards in the Rose bowl and not talking about anything else. So saying that they also make 20% of the money is adding context. And saying they only pay 4% of SS and Medicare, which are also based on earned income, is adding context.
